Zidani Most

Zidani Most is a small elongated settlement and an important railway nexus at the confluence of Sava and Savinja rivers. The rivers and bridges across them create terrific scenery. The first bridge dates back to Roman times, on its place was erected a new bridge in 1224, ordered by Leopold the Glorious from House of Babenberg. It was destroyed together with Klausenstein castle in fighting between Counts of Celje and House of Habsburg in 15th century.
